AMR Process is located in Leduc, next to Edmonton International Airport. Edmonton is a vibrant, multi-cultural city boasting the largest mall in the Western hemisphere, large sporting venues, extensive multi-cultural festivals and located a few hours drive to the Canadian Rockies. Leduc has limited public transport, therefore the Candidate should have their own transportation. For Candidates wishing to relocate, flight to Edmonton International Airport is included. Assistance will be offered to help the successful Candidate to find accomodation, but relocation expenses are not offered.

Intermediate Project Manager
Position Type • Full time
Job Description: The applicant will be required to provide project management activities: • Client co-ordination, meetings and correspondence • Scheduling & critical path analysis • Sub-vendor co-ordination, meetings, expediting and correspondence • Writing requisitions & purchase orders • Buy-out inspections & non-conformance • Cost control • Construction inspection
Additionally, according to the background of the applicant, a number of additional duties may be required, such as: • Instrument data sheets & valve lists • Mechanical data sheets • Instrument sizing • P&ID review • Sub-vendor bid analysis • Structural skid mechanical calculations utilizing RISA-3D • ASME mechanical calculations utilizing CADWorx® • Instrument function testing • Field inspection, commissioning, trouble shooting
Education Requirements: • Relevant technical diploma, engineering degree or experience required • Qualifications or experience may be process, chemical, mechanical or instruments.
Work Experience Requirements: • At least 5 years in the oil & gas or refinery industry in project management • Understanding of P&ID's and process flow schemes • Understanding of package fabrication processes would be an asset • Excellent communication skills required • Understanding with Microsoft® product suites
Intermediate CAD Designer & Drafter
Position Type • Full time
Job Description: The applicant will be required to perform the following design/drafting duties: • AUTOCAD® Drafting • P&ID's Drafting • ASME pressure vessel calculations • ASME vessel drawings (2D & 3D), utilizing CADWorx® • Process packages piping & structural skid layouts (3D), utilizing CADWorx® • Review of sub-vendor drawings & documents • Mechanical skid calculations using 3D-Risa • Construction inspection
Education Requirements: • Relevant drafting technical diploma or experience required • Additional mechanical degree or diploma would be an asset but not required
Work Experience Requirements: • At least 5 years in the oil & gas or refinery industry • Experience with RISA-3D would be an asset • Experience with oil & gas process package drafting. • Experience with ASME pressure vessel & piping drafting • Proficiency in AUTOCAD®, with 3D experience • Experience with CADWorx® would be an asset • Process & Instrument Diagram drafting • Understanding with Microsoft® product suites
